Kitchen ….

I think I’ve spent 8 hours in the kitchen today…  literally from 2:30PM - 10. Got up early to go to the United Nations parade and event at the American International School.

Then, got home and went to the grocery store for some last minute items. And then proceeded to go home around 1 started making dinner rolls and a yellow cake which didn’t come out right. Well texture was perfect but the cake stuck in the Bundt pan even though I was pretty sure I greased and floured it well. 😢  So I’ll be serving it pre-sliced instead. 

And when my aunt got home around four, more cooking continued. I’ve just been assisting, but have literally been in the kitchen all day and I’m ready for bed. Tomorrow’s the first of two Thanksgiving dinners so I’ll be baking the same thing again tomorrow morning for Friday’s Thanksgiving. I’m looking forward to both events, but sleepy at the moment. Post done! 😅
