Lluvia no es jugar
This morning I got up early for ziplining through El Santuario. Being so high up in the trees makes you realize how vast the forest is!
The second half of the day I took an ATV ride through the jungle here and through waterfalls. All in pouring rain! I think we got caught right in the middle of heavy heavy thunderstorms! It usually rains in the afternoon. But this was on another level! It was so fun.
When I got home, I was soaked to the bone, hopped in the shower and got dressed just in time for 7 PM dinner at my homestay. I met the rest of the girls who had been out previously. They are all divers and were telling me about their program here in Costa Rica. Diving seems pretty cool; might be the next thing I try lol
I ended my night watching an Italian drama with Spanish voiceover about two teenagers adopted into the same household who are in love with one another —super melodramatic but listening in Spanish is helpful. I’ve been chatting the most with the teenager of the household. She is the one who put me onto this drama lol
But alas, a las nueve y media! ¡Necesito dormir! Buenas Noches. I’m feeling slightly under the weather probably due to being out in the cold rain today so I’m literally laying in bed now with Vicks on my chest and yes, I travelled with Vicks in my carryon lol. Night!
Side note: Dictating these posts in so much faster than typing; I think it’s gonna be my new way of blogging!
